Hertz Launches ExpressRent Using ClairVista’s Live Expert System
Hertz, the world’s largest car rental brand, is rolling out ExpressRent™ video chat enabled car rental kiosks using ClairVista’s Live Expert® system. With this system, Hertz customers at airport and off-airport locations can instantly video chat with a remote agent to complete rental car transactions. Remote agents provide face-to-face customer service while sharing information and processing transactions on the kiosk screen.
Hertz incorporates Live Expert into its existing kiosk platform, thus leveraging its investment in hardware to increase both service capabilities and operating efficiency. Customers have responded favorably to the unexpected surprise of having a live agent assist them in kiosk transactions. Location partners have welcomed the benefits of providing personalized services through a self service kiosk.
